Connecting the Next Generation to Nature

Linda Tabor Beck with Jane Goodall

As a retired schoolteacher, Linda Tabor Beck knows the importance of mentoring and empowering the next generation. Through an outright and legacy gift, she was able to support the Next Generation of Land Fellows by making a gift today to support the conservation professionals just starting their careers, while her planned gift will carry on her legacy to ensure our conservation work has boots on the ground for generations to come.

A lover of nature, Linda’s passion for animals and the natural world has inspired her throughout her life, and she has continuously followed the work of conservationists like Jane Goodall. Linda believes “everything on the planet is interconnected and is a vital part of a healthy ecosystem. If you have a connection to the land, you recognize that you are part of something including other humans and animals.” Her value of connectedness with the land is core to the mission of Trust for Public Land. Linda’s blended gift has deepened her connection to our work and amplified her impact by providing the resources we need to serve present and future generations.

We hope Linda inspires you, as she has us, to see how we can connect with each other, our communities, and the planet we all call home. Contact Office of Planned Giving at 202-856-3748 or plannedgiving@tpl.org for information on supporting our work with a current or future gift.
